Part XIV
I woke up quite suddenly at the stroke of 5--in the morning!! Well, I was too excited to sleep so I got up and took a shower. I woke Michael up in the process!
"Good Lord, girl! Do you know it's 5:30 in the morning!" He shouted.
I shushed him and told him to be quiet or he'd wake up Christian. He asked me what I was doing up at that hour. I told him that I couldn't sleep so I got up.
"Oh, I see. Got Davy on the brain have we?" He asked with a grin.
I totally ignored him and went about my merry way. I got dressed. I thought that since we were going to be on the beach all day; I'd wear a bikini under my shorts and shirt.
I opened up the patio door and went outside to watch the sun rise. I don't believe that I'd ever seen a more beautiful sunrise. It was breathtaking!
Michael brought me out of my dream and back into the real world by coming up behind me and saying, "Boo!" I must have jumped a mile.
"Michael!" I said while smacking him upside his head. "You frightened me!"
"Come on, little britches. Phyllis has eggs benedict for us for breakfast," he said. He put his arm around me and led me into the kitchen. I hurried through breakfast and then started to hurry Michael so that we could get to the studio.
We finally left around 7:00. On the way over, Michael asked me if I really liked Davy. I told him that I did-- I really did. I said that I thought I was falling in love.
"No more thoughts of Micky?" He asked hopefully.
I replied, "Micky who?"
We looked at each other and laughed very hard.
He pulled up to the studio and as soon as the car stopped, I was out the car door and headed for the door. I opened the door and there was Davy-- waiting for me.
"'Ello love!" He expounded as he kissed me on the lips.
